Lana had not long left Wales, she’d been back to see her mother, spent a few days there. He mom had been trying to get her back for months but Lana hadn’t had the time, so her mum had gone for the option of saying the home network Lana had set up had crashed. As such, she’d gotten good home cooking for a few days, a nice bunch of nice clean washing and a bag full of snacks for the trip back. The main thing she’d neglected to mention to her mother was that she was planning on heading to England for a bit on her way back. She’d been speaking to a few friends online and one had some spare computer parts floating around their house they’d promised her. The parts were practically antiques and that was the only reason Lana was willing to walk around England for them.
She was currently sat in a pretty large cafe. England being the wasteland that it had become, no one ever seemed friendly every time she came here and she always felt awfully isolated when she was here. England was always known for being dreary and grey but now it seemed to be that much worse. She almost wished she could just get the parts and go right this second but she was trapped here for a few days by the look of it. She chosen a table in a back corner but it was right next to a large window. Even though it was only mid afternoon, you could have probably mistaken it for evening. Lana put that fact down to maybe her power was interfering with her perception, this area was dying and the dead had no colour in her mind.
Sighing she stirred her tea lightly, debating getting a book out to read to kill the time. Why she had thought that going to a cafe and staring out of a window to kill time would do it any faster than watching boring television in her bedroom would be a better plan. Time did seem to be moving at a much slower rate than she was used to. Lana slumped in her chair again, sighing loudly for about the 10th time in the twenty minutes since she’d gotten here. Dropping her head into her hands she rested with her eyes closed, trying to remember the colours of happy people. Even being here seemed to dull her memory.

Hunter put is pistol away as he walked up to the cafe. Like normal there was no reason to ave it out but in the few years he had lived here he knew never to think it was safe. Walking to the door he looked around like he always did. His wife always thought it pointless. "You reall think someone would attack in a cafe Hunter" his wife's words playing in his head as he looked around the room. You can never be to safe was always his answer to that question and he knew it to be ture he learned it the hard way. His fake leg and missing fingers was proof of that.
Walking up to the conter he looked at the owner and smiled "Hey Simon Just the usual please". He turned and waited for the coffee. He looked around the Cafe there was really nothing to see or do he turned around to wait for his coffee.
As he waited he heard the door open he wasn't sure if anyone came until he heard and click of the gun behind him she sighed inside. Of corse he was going to be in a robbery today it was that kind of day. He didn't know how many people were in the store or how many were part of it but he had to do something. "EVERYONE STAY CLAM ALL WE WANT IS THE MONEY". Hunter sighed again and slowly moved for his gun. He still didn't know how many people were robbing the place but he wasn't going to let it happen.

Lana nearly fell out of her seat in shock as the men walked into the cafe with guns. She'd felt a distinct change in the people in the cafe, but didn't have a chance to Analise it properly as barley a minute lated the other men entered the building. Their words barely registered in her mind at first, but it was pretty obvious what they were after. she tried to push her self back into her seat to become less noticeable whilst she focused her ability on the leader of the group. His aura was practically as Grey as the outside world, the path which lead him here was little more than crime and death. The main thing that was sure was that he'd gotten a taste for murder along the way.
She pulled her knees up to her chest, pooling her won aura into a protective shield around the booth. She only wished she could do something more proactive but hurling aura around would probably start more of a panic and this man was more likely to shoot first and question things later. Also she didn't know if this robber had an ability of his own - not something she wanted to risk. He eyes flicked to the others in the cafe, seeing their colours now as she hadn't shut of her power. Most were just normal day to day ovals, except one at the bar - his shape was weird, not the same as every one Else's. The only time Lana had ever seem something like that was a family member who'd lost both their legs to a stupid accident when they were 10.
When her shield snapped into place she hoped that no one was sensitive enough to have heard or seen it. to ordinary vision the shield was invisible until touched, but she'd been told that people with enhanced hearing or sight probably may be able to see it, or hear it before it was touched. She bit her lip lightly hoping for the best, Lana was absolutely terrified of guns so this situation was already making her increasingly nervous. If it came to the point when she panicked her gift usually doubled a bit in strength and became insanely hard to control.

Hunter stood ther smiling this guy was dumb it was easy to tell with the way he spoke and not fron England from the sound of it."Out of towns" he muttered under his breath as stood where he was. It seemed to be the wrong thing to say becasue before he knew it he was looking the guy in the face he laughed. The would be robber looked him in the eyes and the next thing he knew he was on the ground. Hunter haveing had the wind knocked out of him looked up at the guy and laughed again. "Hey mate there was no need of that were all friends here". The next thing he knew he was flying accross the floor he sighed. "Telekinese great." he muttered to himself as he stood up.
Hunter watched as the second man walked over to him not sure what he was going to do he watched closely. Clearly these two had powers this was going to be fun he could tell. Looking at the second man and then to the first he sighed "Really mate what did i do to get you so pissed I only stood there?"
Hunters hand moved slowly to his pistol he wondered if he could get to it before they go to him or if he even had a chance as shooting them before they killed him. It would take a lot of luck for that to happen he wondered if he had told his wife he loved her before he left. He wondered if she would know what happened to him when he didn't return. Then the power went out and the cafe went dark. All mosr could see was shadows in the dark. Hunter smiled wide.

Lana shifted uncomfortable when the two guys turned to attack the man, her shield wavered under her agitation. The shield always took a distinct amount of concentration to keep the shield around herself, but seeing as the man was using telekinesis’, and using it rather efficiently by throwing the man at the front of the cafe around it was vaguely useless. She felt completely useless sat in this chair; the advantage was utterly out of her favour, being directly in a fight was never Lana’s good side.
When the café went dark everything became pitch black – apart for the small globs of colour around the café. She focused a little bit more to differentiate between different people, just so she didn’t accidently hurt some poor innocent person. She dispelled the shield entirely, pulling the energy she’d poured out of it back into her mind, pooling a good deal of it into her hand. It only took a few seconds for all of this to happen, Lana had a tendency to run through things as she did them at a quick speed – a talent she’d adapted from working on computers to working with her ability and life in general.
She jumped to her feel quickly, throwing the ball directly at the main guy who was throwing the other guy around. Aiming squarely from his side to throw him off balance and to give the other guy a chance to move. Whilst she was channeling the ball her vision flickered back to globs of colour, afterwards when the energy had left her they formed into actually shapes again.
