Ch 1 Seeing Is Believing. Its the year 2020. For Ray this year had been exceptionally difficult. He had grown into his ability learning how to control it and more importantly learned about himself. Teaming up with with two men who died a few years back, Adam Monro and Issac Mendez. He has gained each of there abilities. One was the ability to paint the future. Precognition. Currently Ray was in his hotel room. Unpacked from the night before, He didn't see the point in unpacking because he would soon be going to the next area within a few days. He has been living like this for a while. Jumping from place to place in search for people with abilities. Along with his two new companions only he could see, for there spirits only are visible to people who can see the dead. Ray moved to the bag of clothes laying on the ground. He picked out some clothing and changed. " Were are we going to start looking first, this painting doesn't tell us anything." Adam asked looking at a painting Ray had drawn the night before. Because Adam and Issac are only spirits they can not come into contact with any objects or people they cant feel or cause anything to happen. People cant see them as if they are not even there. Ray moved closer to him. " I guess well have to just wing it and walk until we see something or someone that might give us a clue. " Ray told him. Issac entered the room. He sat on the bed. The bed didn't move or sink down when he did. Issac put his head down and rain his fingers thew his hair. " It was like this when i was alive. I would paint these pictures of the future some cheerleader was going to die and New York was going to explode. Threw my paintings i gave some people with abilities a chance to stop it. Those paintings never came true, I couldn't do it on my own i needed help. Right now its just you Ray you need to get some help if you want the future to change. " Issac told Ray, Adam listened as well. Ray nodded, He knew that he had to gather more people willing to become heroes. Ray went to the post office and dropped off his latest comic book to his publisher with Issac's words in mind. " These comics will hopefully find there way to the heroes we need." Ray reassured Issac that he understood what he meant. Ray sat down on a bench beside the post office and took out his sketch book.

Danny looked out the window at the cool waves splashing against the sandy beach. She had always loved the beach. Living in new York she say the water all the time, but it was always to cold and strong to step foot in it. Here, though, the white was spotted with dots of people, and there were people going up and down with the waves. She had never like to swim, but it was tempting to go down and join them. Finally deciding against it, after all there might be sharks or something, she turned a way from the 3rd story window of the hotel room. She still didn't know why she had some here, she had seen visions before and did nothing about them, but there was something about this one that was different. It was one of the most unclear thing s she had ever seen, unlike the vision of the two sadistic serial killers that killed her family. With in it she saw the ocean, much like this one out side, and darkness and desaster, but that was really it. Then she saw a comic book, it was odd because she never even looked at them before, but this one was different. Thats what brought her here.
Sighing she left the safety of her room and out to the streets. her brown purple hair drabbed over her black hooded jacket, even though it was pretty warm. She was also wearing jeans, one of the only people doing so, but it wasn't like Florida, it was still a little chilly. Walking down the street she made sure to look at everyone's faces. She knew what she was looking for. Maybe of the people looked back like she was skipping school or something, and they had right. She was really 15 years old and should be in school, but she Had already graduated and was in college now. Not to mention the age that was one her record was 18. She did just have to hid her Precognition.
Then she saw him. He was sitting on a bench. She stopped suddenly, not sure if she really wanted to do this. She had only told one person about her powers and he was now dead. Since then she had ignored them and pretended to be normal, as normal as she could be being 15 and in college. Slowly she started walking again, to late to turn back. Once at the bench she sat next to him, making sure to leave a good foot and a half between them. Taking a big breath she said in her sweet dove voice, "My name is Danny Messer..." She really wasn't to sure what else to say. "My name's Danny Messer and I can see the future." yeah right. He would have to prove that he was 'different' first so she didn't make a complete fool of herself. Thinking of one more thing to say she added, "And I really like your comics..."

Ray just about to use his ability and try to draw a future for a clue or hint as to what to do. Yet a young girl came over to him and sat on the beach. As she began to talk to him he looked at her. Wondering who she was she gave her name. "Hello Danny mined Ray Nekawa." He replied back to her. She mentioned that she liked rays comics. "The 9th wonders?" He asked just to make it clear. He had drawn manga while living in japan but he didn't know if they reached America. However his 9th wonders had originated in America after merging with the dead Isaacs soul. Allowing Ray to gain Isaacs ability to paint the future. Theses comics were about heroes and villains. Ray had been drawing these with a message to all the heroes to be aware of the dangers they might face. Little did he know if a villain had read one of the comics they would also be aware what would happen to them and try to change it.
Ray put his pencil down. " Oh thanks, so .." He was going to ask if any of the characters resembled her she did look familiar. But he decided that might be to direct and out of the ordinary, What if she was just a normal girl without an ability. Ray didn't want to scare her off. " I'm actually working on a new one right now. But I'm stuck i ran out off ideas. Do you mind doing an experiment with me?" He asked her. He was going to try and connect with her spirit. She was still alive and Ray could only merge with the dead spirits however his abilities absorbed from other spirits such as Issac and DL could effect the spirits of living things threw touch. " Its an ancient Japanese ritual my family had taught me, don't worry its perfectly safe." He told her trying to make this sound ordinary and normal. Being from another culter he hoped she would just go with it. Both Issac and DL just sat in silence. They could not be seen or herd, they were dead. Issac wondered what Ray was doing. Ray had originally got his precognition from him and Issac himself had never did such ritual. He wanted to know were Ray was going with this, what was he trying to accomplish. DL Just sat there also. His mind wasn't on the seen that was playing out but rather some were else. He wanted to see his wife and child, They think hes dead, even tho he is he just wants to be there for them and help them out threw Ray. Ray agreed to be helpful to DL and help protect his family, Yet Ray had to accomplish his mission first and try to protect ALL the heroes. Not just DLs wife and child. DL was becoming somewhat impatient.
(ooc: Sorry i took so long to reply, i was waiting for others to join so we can have a party but looks like its me and you. *puts on party hat.)

Lana was pretty new to California, although it wasn’t like she was staying here long. One of the friends in her network had been feeling down, and Lana hated it when people she knew where upsets. So yes she had made a very long journey just to cheer them up. Although it was very easy to cheer a geek like Julia up, she simply brought up a few parts of a computer and a screwdriver set. Three days later, Julia was back to her insane hyper self and wasn’t thinking about leaving her ridiculously good job any more. Never the less she was now loitering around California with very little to do. Well, unless you count rather pointless errands that she kept up. Even though she was so computer literate, her family weren’t, most correspondence that was written to them where done by pen and paper. The one and only times Lana neared a post office.
She’d been cooped up for the last three days and didn’t fancy using her ability constantly on Julia, so instead she was now using it on most people as she was walking around. So everyone was looking like blobs of colour in her eyes for now. As she was going into the post office he vision flicked over the people, something was looking a little weird with the people on the bench, one was one solid colour as normal – but one of them was a little fuzzy. Not something Lana had ever seen before, it was like there was more than one person. Deciding on the less complicating normal vision she flicked back, seeing only 2 people sat on the bench. The confusion however was completely and utterly wiped out when she saw who was on the bench. Lana was a geek, and a huge fan of anime and comics, but if she wasn’t being utterly delusional, the writer of one of her favourites was sat outside of a post office.
Also it was one of the comics which seemed to be very familiar. It wasn’t something Lana had managed to pin down quite yet. Maybe it was just the fact he wrote about people who had abilities and were around people who didn’t, the only people she knew who had abilities was her mom. It wasn’t something you really ran around yelling about though, that was an amazing way to end up smack in the middle of a lab or something worse. Her mum had been very obsessive about the paranoia with getting caught by someone and being tested on. She had however not elaborated in the slightest. She did however realise she had come to a dead halt in front of the two and realised if she just walked into a shop now she would probably look even more of a freak than she did now. Deciding to just dive head in, something Lana was surprisingly good at. “Are you Ray, as in Ray Newaka?” She sighed kicking herself mentally, great now I sound like a crazed fan girl “Sorry if I’m interrupting anything here, it’s just I had to check I wasn’t going crazy.” She hoped she managed to save face a little on that one, but slightly doubted it. Her eyes flicked to the place where the other fuzzes where when she using her ability but there was nothing there and she could sense nothing at all, she decided to pass it off as an anomaly.

Danny could kind of feel some sort of tension between her and the other, Ray as she already knew him from the comic. Maybe it was a good sign that he was the right guy, or maybe not... Maybe it would be better if he had no idea who she was and she had the wrong idea. But to seemed to late now, he had to be the guy. "Yeah... The 9th ward..." She muttered very softly looking at the ground. It would be nice to finally meet some people whom she could share one of her secrets, but then there was a chance that one of them could figure out her second secret, or have some ability to see the past or something... which wouldn't be good. Pushing that thought out of her mind Danny tuned back into what Ray was saying.
He wanted to try some Japaneses ritual on her? In a way it made her scared. What if he was evil or something or not who she thought? What if he hurt her in anyway? They were in a public area, but it could be something very sudel that no one would see happening. She was stunned and didn't know what to say. Maybe she was just being paranoid? Then some one stopped right in front of them. Danny caught sight of her right away, but didn't really look up to see all of her. When she finally spoke, then she looked up, but avoided eye contact. But then again she didn't seem interested in her at all, only Ray, and the empty spot next to him. It was like she could see something that others couldn't. Would it be to much of a coincidence if three heroes found each other at the some time? Or other three people with abilities for Danny didn't know if either was good or bad. Surely it could happen. Danny had knew he would be here and came, maybe others also did.
